Former U.S. Transportation Secretary, Norman Y. Mineta, Joins Allied Telesis Holdings K.K. Board of Advisors
TOKYO, Japan - February 14, 2013 - Allied Telesis Holdings K.K., announces that Norman Yoshio (Y.) Mineta has joined its global Board of Advisors, a move to further enhance the IT infrastructure solutions leader's strategic oversight and management team.
Mineta, an American politician and member of the Democratic Party, most recently served as the United States Secretary of Transportation in President George W. Bush's Cabinet. With more than five years in that role under his belt, he was the longest-serving Transportation Secretary in the Department's history. Mineta also served as President Bill Clinton's Secretary of Commerce for the last six months of his term.
